Inclusive Youth Prevention

What Do We Offer?
Our newly designed youth project includes workshops on sexual health and serves as a complement to our School Outreach & Prevention programs. With this project, we aim to reach additional youth groups (such as youth centers, student groups, etc.). For this reason, we have decided to meet young people directly within their daily environments. Therefore, the workshops are held directly at your respective facility. Time and again, we find that young people in particular have very limited knowledge about HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

What is the Content of the Youth Project?
Through engaging, interactive exercises and a wide variety of materials, we work together to explore topics surrounding the transmission routes of sexually transmitted infections and methods of protection. Plenty of time is set aside to address the questions of the young people. The goal is to educate young people about sexual health, empower them to navigate their sexuality autonomously, and promote the visibility of sexual and gender diversity. Ideally, this project will empower the participating youth to become peer educators (multipliers) within their own social circles.

Who Runs the Workshops?
The workshops are typically held on Fridays by a member of our education team. If your facility is only available on another day of the week, please get in touch with us, we will see what we can do. The timeframe for the workshops is at least 90 minutes and can be customized upon request.

If you are interested in hosting a workshop at your facility or need more information, we look forward to your inquiry!
