Our Pop-Up Checkpoint regularly visits communities throughout the Rhine-Neckar region as well as selected locations in Heidelberg. This service is proudly supported by our partnerships with AbbVie and ViiV Healthcare.

How It Works (No Appointment Needed)
You are welcome to simply drop by during the scheduled hours and location. Our counseling team will be there waiting for you and will take the time to answer any questions you may have.

Please plan to spend about 20 minutes with us for the consultation. We will talk about your sexual health, complete a personal risk assessment, and figure out together which tests make the most sense for you. Because we operate entirely without appointments and serve everyone on a first-come, first-served basis, please calculate a bit of additional waiting time.

Our counseling is completely anonymous, respectful, and our team is specially trained in supporting individuals who have experienced violence.

How We Test

• HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis: Rapid test. We do a small prick on your finger and test using a small amount of blood. You will get your results right then and there.
• If applicable, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea: Swabs, which you can perform yourself after a brief set of instructions. You can access your results online after about a week. Alternatively, people with a penis can provide a urine sample (please do not urinate for about 90 minutes beforehand).
