Counselling

We provide counseling for anyone who has questions about HIV/AIDS and other topics related to sexual health. In addition to their professional qualifications, our counselors have completed extensive advanced training to offer expert guidance on all aspects of sexual health. Those seeking advice remain anonymous, and all conversations are strictly confidential. We are queer-friendly, sensitive to discrimination, as well as sex-positive and kink-positive.

Topics we can discuss include, for example:

• I would like to schedule an appointment at the Checkpoint.
• I want to talk about how to protect myself and my partner(s) from sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
• I heard, saw, or read something new about HIV in the media and want to find out more about it.
• I know someone who is HIV-positive and I am unsure how to interact with them.
• I received a positive test result and have questions about it.
• And many more...
